About the conference

The WCA Family of Logistic Networks and the China International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFA) will once again host the 7th Sino International Freight Forwarders Conference in Hong Kong. We will return to the AsiaWorld-Expo due to the huge demand by independent freight forwarders and other industry related areas.

Based upon our past 6 conferences we anticipate over 1500 freight forwarders attending.

For the first time, this years event is to be held in conjunction with the World Cargo Connections 2010 organized by Air Cargo Media UK and will include attendees such as:

Airlines
Shippers and Consignees
Ocean Carriers
Terminal Operators
Airport Authorities
Port Authorities
Freight Associations
Forwarder Networks
Software Providers
Associated Industries (handling equipment, transportation containers, road and rail)
Airport handling equipment
General Sales Agents, GSAs
Charter Brokers, Air and Ocean

This sudden demand has come from these sectors due to the power of the independent forwarding community and the amount of business exchanged at previous Sino Conferences.  These service providers and industry-related companies and organizations recognize the importance of showing their presence and getting to know the independent freight forwarders in a networking environment.  This has attracted greater numbers and a more diverse audience from the transportation industry and due to this increase in demand it is necessary to return to the AsiaWorld-Expo where the facilities are first class and able to accommodate such a large event.

The venue is ideally located within 5 minutes by shuttle bus or train from Hong Kong Airport and the main event hotel – the luxurious Regal Airport Hotel.  AsiaWorld-Expo will accommodate over 2,000 delegates, together with 100-plus meeting booths, that are now anticipated to attend. Not only is Hong Kong the world’s leading air cargo hub, it is also one of Asia’s major ocean freight ports making it the perfect location for the event.

Hong Kong has unparalleled international access by air, allowing attendees from across the globe to arrive at the event hotel within minutes of landing.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to combine the unique business and networking opportunities at the 7th International Sino Conference with meeting local clients and customers, helping make the Sino Conference the most cost-effective and productive event in the forwarding industry.

Due to unprecedented initial demand from freight forwarders and other industry-related delegates, the One-on-One Meeting format has been extended from two days to three days to allow tens of thousands of networking meetings to be completed.
