The cooking styles of Shanghai are world-spanning. There are excellent European Continental cuisines in stylish restaurants. German and American cuisines are also widely available. There are a couple of excellent Indian restaurants in the Tandoor and Hazara. Others include Italian, Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese and even Brazilian and Cajun cuisine.
Shanghai is also a center of Chinese cuisine culture. It integrates various dishes from the country. Shanghai cuisine itself is also very delicious.
Nanxiang Steamed Pork Dumplings (Nanxiang xiaolongbao) are a traditional snack of Nanxiang Township in Shanghai's suburbs and can be found all over Shanghai.
In the city, there are several famous places to get Nanxiang Pork Dumplings. One is the area around the Yuyuan marketplace while the others are snack restaurants at the intersection of Tibet Road and Yan'an Road near People's Square.
Niangao is a typical southern Chinese dish made with glutinous rice flour strips sliced into pieces and stir-fried with other ingredients. One especially popular way to prepare Niangao is to stir-fry it with pork spareribs. This Shanghainese dish is known as Paigu Niangao.

What is Hooters: A casual, beach-themed restaurant known for the Hooters Girls-the surfer girl next door. Hooters serves seafood, burgers, sandwiches and “nearly world famous” chicken wings.

La Seine Restaurant
La Seine Restaurant provides the very finest of French cuisine prepared by our renowned French chefs. We open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch, for seven days a week.
